Our Commitment to Covid-19
We understand that in the current situation booking a holiday and choosing where to travel to can create uncertainty so we have been doing as much as we can to give our guests as much flexibility as possible.
If within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date there is, due to COVID-19
– A closure of the entire Portes du Soleil ski area and the lift network.
– A travel ban imposed preventing the lead guest travelling to or from the accommodation and to or from their country of departure
– A legal requirement for the lead guest to self-isolate or quarantine on their return to their country of residence.
Mountain Spaces will offer you one of the following alternatives –

Arrival & Transportation
Driving to Morzine is the safest way to travel, but if you do choose to fly protective measures and equipment ensure your safe airport transfer to the resort. Transfers from the airport can be carried out only with guests of the same chalet and the minibuses are thoroughly disinfected after each use.
While face-to-face interactions may be more limited throughout your stay this season, we will remain as connected as ever through the Mountain Spaces WhatsApp. Contactless check in is available with online information packs.
Our chalets are disinfected and deep cleaned after every stay. Our team will be wearing PPE safety equipment and all rooms are ventilated throughout the change over day.
Hand sanitiser and antibacterial cleaning products are provided in chalet for your stay.
Hot tubs are disinfected and have a complete water change ready for your stay.
If you choose to dine out at one of the many restaurants in Morzine you’ll see safety measures in place, with tables spaced the correct distance apart and masks compulsory when entering and moving around the restaurant.
If you would prefer to eat among your group and stay within the chalet this doesn’t mean you have to forgo the luxury of not cooking or not having to wash up. We work with a fantastic number of private chefs and caterers that can provide you with different ‘dine in’ options. In these uncertain times, this is a great way to take advantage of social distancing and retain the luxury of not cooking.
Morzine and its ski area are following all guidelines to welcome guests in the best conditions possible.
Masks will be compulsory in lift queues and on the lifts. Hand sanitiser will be available at all lift stations and social distancing will be effective.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
