The Half-Naked Tongan in the Opening Ceremony

In our view the opening ceremony always trumps the closing ceremony as you have all the anticipation of the games to come. PyeongChang will be remembered for the coming together of Korea. Most bizarre costume prize? Has to go to Tonga’s shirtless Pita Taufatofua, maybe fair enough for Rio when he first did it, but in the minus temperatures of PyeongChang? Bonkers.

Cross Country Skier crashes then wins Gold

Norwegian Cross Country Skier Simen Hegstan Krueger crashed at the start of the 30km skiathalon, breaking a pole in the process, but still went on to win gold. Watch here

The Flying Tomato wins 3rd Halfpipe Gold

This was a thrilling final with the top 3; Shaun White, Ayumu Hirano and Scotty James fighting to outdo each other with some amazing runs. The Flying Tomato, Shaun White eventually came out on top to win his third halfpipe gold.

1st Medal for Team GB!

Ranked as an 100-1 outsider Dom Parsons clinches bronze in the Skeleton.

Another Bronze for Team GB and the 1st ever for Skiing

The Pooh Storm

Yuzuru Hanyu becomes the first man in over 60 years to defend a single figure skating Olympic title. Fans treated him to a Pooh storm to celebrate – he’s a fan of the honey loving bear apparently. Watch here

Snowboarder win Super-G

Czech Republic’s Ester Ledecka came out of nowhere to win the women’s Super-G – on borrowed skis. 6 days later and she won the snowboarding parallel giant slalom too!

Billy Morgan Breaks Medal Record for TeamGB
