If you’re still yet to visit us this season we thought we might wet your appetite with a photo tour of the food and drink you can expect when you stay in a Mountain Spaces chalet.

Sorry if you’ve already been this year – but hopefully you can reminisce – or why not book your place at the table for next year? We are filling up quite quickly as it happens.

So what’s on the menu?

Let’s start at the top. We take breakfast very seriously at Mountain Spaces, we need to fuel you up for a day on the slopes after all! We offer a continental breakfast of fresh baguette, warm pain au chocolat and croissants with a selection of jams but also eggs freshly cooked each morning, porridge, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juices and hot drinks. Each day we present a different hot option; from porridge to scrambled eggs, pancakes and other assorted morning goodness.

So you’ve skied your socks and boarded your boots off. How about a spot of tea and cake? Waiting for you on your return will be homemade cakes and a selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and of course the Hot Tub!

And finally to the all important evening meal, you’ve deserved it.

Service starts around half past seven with a complimentary drink from the bar and canapés. All our canapés are designed by our hosts and are inspired by their favourite flavours, dishes they had on their travels or perhaps based on their favourite street food from some obscure market stall somewhere in Asia.

Then it’s onto the starters and your main meal. Some of our most popular and favourite dishes stay year after year with other dishes being replaced with some of our favourite flavours and inspiration from our travels throughout the summer months, the mountain of cook books we read and test every year, recipes from friends and family or from our favourite shows like The Great British Bake Off and Masterchef.

Next it’s dessert and finally a selection of the best local cheeses, Beaumont is one of our favourites.
