3. Christmas dinner with all the trimmings

Skiing at Christmas makes a nice change but we know there are some things that people want to remain the same, like Christmas Dinner. We make it with all the trimmings, cooked just how you like it.

4. We don’t forget the little things

Just because you’re away from home it doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the little traditions that make Christmas so special. We’ve got lots of carrots, mince pies and whiskey for Santa and his reindeers. There’ll be presents under your beautifully decorated tree and our Christmas playlist will be ready to go.

5. Wine, wine and more wine

We’ve got a brand new wine list for winter 2016/17. And as it’s Christmas there’ll be plenty of mulled wine on offer too. Not too mention port, brandy and all the usual Christmas favourites.

6. Guaranteed snow

It’s always a bit nerve-racking at the start of the season, wondering when the snow’s going to arrive. But in the unlikely event that Morzine is a bit lacking you can guarantee there’ll be snow up at Avoriaz. It’s in the mountains at 1800 metres. They’ve also got more snow cannons than Tesco has mince pies.

7. There’s loads going on

There’s always fireworks on Christmas eve, and a torch lit procession down the Pleney slopes. Or why not try ice skating in the square?

8. Christmas skiing

Forget about a stroll after Christmas lunch. Get your boots on and get on the slopes. You’ll be sure to build up an appetite for round two of drinks and food in the evening.

9. Christmas treats

You won’t need to do that special shop at Waitrose this year. We’ll make sure our larder is full of Christmas treats to make your stay even more special. We serve a delicious afternoon tea every day and an exotic choice of canapes with pre-dinner drinks.

10. Your Christmas stay, your way

As Christmas is falling over the weekend this year we’ve rejigged our weeks so you don’t have to travel on Christmas Day and in some cases even on Boxing Day. Chalet Doux Abri (£7,500 for the whole chalet) and La Vallee (£4,900 for the whole chalet) are still available to hire for the week commencing 19th and ending 26th December. Or book The Nest (£7,500 for the whole chalet, 10% off) for 20th – 27th December and we’ll also throw in free kids ski passes when you book adult passes (save up to £600). We also have two self-catered chalets available for Christmas week too, both available for the 20th – 27th December. Chalet Les Gentianes is only £2995 for the week (40% off), Chalet Figue is £4495.
